Inspections: About Wind Mitigation and 4 Point Inspections
Posted: 28 September, 2023
A Wind Mitigation and 4 Point Inspections are both insurance inspections for the State of Florida. Each inspection has its intended purpose. A Wind Mitigation report is valid for 5 years, while a 4-point inspection will expire after the year. You will only need a new 4-point inspection if you are switching insurance carriers. For the most part you do not need to submit a new 4-point inspection ever year.
